Musicians offer performances

Concerts and contests from the state marching band, string orchestra and choir are coming up, and students from each of these events will be playing songs that they have practiced.

Everyone is welcome to attend the concerts and contests. Payments will be accepted at the front entrance on the day of the events.

The state marching band will be held at Dubuque Senior High School on Oct. 11, at 2:05 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults and $4 for students.

The string orchestra concert will be held at Holmes Junior High on Oct. 14, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults and $4 for students.

The choir concert will be held in the Claire C. Stanard Auditorium on Oct. 20 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults and $4 for students.

 

CFHS musicians answer,
