Our View: Thank you, First Christian, for homecoming lunch
Power Hour last Friday was filled with the smell of grilled hotdogs and hamburgers for everyone at the high school. Thanks, go out to First Christian Church across the street for topping off another homecoming week.
For many years, First Christian Church has had a cookout. Inviting students to have a cookie, hotdog, hamburger and choice of beverage.
All the funds that going into this cookout come from the church’s youth groups and other church goers.
Big efforts are put into the cookout for students and staff members. Be sure to give thanks, to all the volunteers that participated in this year’s cook out.
