Schoology survey finds students savor Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups most

In a recent Hi-Line survey through Schoology, the top five favorite candies that high schoolers like are Reese’s at 16.7%, Twix at 13.3%, candy corn at 8.3% and 6.7% for 3 Musketeers and Sour Patch Kids.

Sophomore Elene Kodanashvili said she likes Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, Sour Patch Kids and Swedish Fish but she likes Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups the best. “I love peanut butter, and I think the sweet and salty flavor combination is the best one out there.”

Reese’s has a lot of flavor combinations like the one with pretzels inside and ultimate peanut butter lovers. “I think the original is the best because it’s classic and delicious without trying so hard,” Kodanashvili said.

Junior Annie Forcum said she likes Red Vines and Twizzlers but candy corn the best. “Candy corn is my favorite because it reminds me of being little and eating them when I was younger. I like the original ones the best because I can’t have the chocolate ones because I’m allergic to chocolate. Candy corn is my favorite because it’s what you expect when you eat candy corn. It’s a classic flavor, and no matter where you get it, it’s good.”

Senior Myah Brinker said she likes Herseys and Jolly Ranchers but likes Herseys better. “Any kind of Herseys is good. I like the pure chocolate that Herseys has. With other companies they put things in it, and I don’t really like that.”

Brinker said she especially likes dark chocolate and milk chocolate. “I like Herseys because it’s one of the first candies I ever tried, and I don’t really like eating new foods.”
