Across streaming platforms, several critically acclaimed television shows have been canceled or left without closure, leaving fans hoping for their return. Among the lists each show continues to have a strong following despite ending years ago.
Many students say Mindhunter deserves another season due to its unique storytelling and psychological focus. “It’s one of the only shows that really dives into how criminals think in a realistic way,” junior Ethan Cole said. “There’s still so much more they could explore.”
Others point to The OA, which ended on a major cliffhanger that left viewers with unanswered questions. “It felt like the story was just getting started,” sophomore Maya Collins said. “Cancelling it right there didn’t feel complete at all.”
Horror fans continue to advocate for Hannibal, praising its style and character development. “It was way more artistic than most crime shows,” sophomore Jordan Lee said. “The visuals, the writing – everything about it still stands out.”
Despite being off the air, most shows continue to gain new viewers through streaming and online discussions. Fans say that ongoing interest proves there is still demand for their return, even years after cancellation.
