Dinosaur Day approaching on May 19

The third Tuesday of May is recognized as International Dinosaurs Day, and this year that is May 19.
Dinosaurs existed on Earth for approximately 245 million years and were a diverse group of reptiles.
Did you know that dinosaur fossils have been discovered on all seven continents?
There are approximately 700 known extinct species of dinosaurs. All non-avian dinosaurs became extinct around 66 million years ago.
My favorite dinosaur is the Troodon. Troodon typically laid 4 to 6 eggs, and it was an omnivore, eating both plants and meat. I find dinosaurs particularly interesting because some of them were small; for example, the Troodon was about 3 feet tall.
