Reading a personalized card means a lot to somebody, and seeing their happy reaction means a lot to who made it. Believe it or not, cards are what bring us closer over the holiday season because each card has it’s own special and heartwarming writing inside. Holiday cards are great for many occasions and the perfect thing to gift this Christmas. Thoughtful, heart-warming, homemade Christmas cards are the sweetest (and the cheapest) Christmas gift!

Supplies:

• Construction Paper
• Crayons/
• Colored pencils
• Markers
• Pen

You may also want: 

• Glitter
• Stickers
• Tape
• Glue
• Scissors
• A printer may also be useful if you plan on printing pictures or free coloring pages to include in your card

Memories/Family
These are my favorite kinds of cards because it shows you went the extra mile to make the card personal. Including a family picture or a picture of your favorite memory with the person you are giving it to gives him or her a sense nostalgia. Even the happy memories included in your card is enough to make someone tear up because of the thought you put into it.

Happy Holidays cards are a great gift for young and old. Kids may not understand how thoughtful cards are because of their young age, but include a silly picture of a snowman, and you won’t believe how much they love it.

Helpful Tips:

Make the outside look nice with fun wording, nice print and fun designs.

Don’t be afraid to do something that might take some thought and some time. It will be worth it in the end.

Think of the person you are making it for. What are their interests or favorite colors.

Make sure it’s legible and everything is spelled correctly. You won’t have auto-correct.

Get creative. You are making this card for someone special in your life, so don’t be afraid to show you took the extra mile in making it unique.

Make the message thought out and personal for that special touch.

Deliver it with a smile, and maybe even a hug to show you care.
