Many drink combinations available at new tea shop

Pearl Tea is a new tea shop that has opened up on University. They offer a variety of drinks: from boba tea to smoothies, fruit tea and milk tea, they have it all.

This cozy little shop will allow you to relax and enjoy your time as you drink your tea. The environment is very calm, yet with a fun aura to it. The chairs are comfortable and the workers are polite and happy to serve.

But what ever are you to order with such a large menu as theirs? Well, that might depend on your preference for milk tea or for fruit tea. If you’re still unsure, then your decision lies  with whether you prefer more of a sweet taste or more of a bitter taste. If you choose sweet, then fruit tea might be the way to go. Bitter? Then milk tea is suggested. You could even try mixing it up and order the handshaken fruit tea, where you get to decide whatever kind of flavoring, tea, and topping you want.

The drinks are served in portable cups, which now have a new sealing feature, which might come in handy if you don’t want to enjoy your drink right away. The straws are big enough to get the boba and/or the fruit poppings through, and is quite convenient.

Pearl Tea is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. all week long except on Sundays when it closes at 8 p.m. Prices of drinks range from $3.50 to $5.50. The exact address is  5725 University Ave, Suite A in Cedar Falls.
