Students share focus for resolutions

With the turn of the year having just happened, lots of people are committing to a New Year’s resolutions. Some people want to lose weight so their resolution would be to exercise. Others want to do something for personal growth, for example be more honest or be more trusting.

Of 54 CFHS students polled through Schoology, 54% are doing resolutions relating to their mental health or health, and most only do New Year’s resolutions when they feel like it.

History.com said, “The ancient Babylonians are said to have been the first people to make New Year’s resolutions, some 4,000 years ago. They were also the first to hold recorded celebrations in honor of the new year.”

What do you think is important to focus on this year? And do you think a new years resolution will help focus you on that goal?
