After dropping home game to Prairie, Tigers head to Ankeny on Friday

After starting the season with two shutout wins, the Tigers dropped a game vs. Cedar Rapids Prairie in the UNI Dome on Sept. 9, 27-7.

With the win, Prairie improved to 2-1 and avenged last year’s loss to Cedar Falls on a last second trick play.

At the beginning of the game, with a stifling defense, Prairie had a big lead from Cedar Falls Prairie, including a crazy 72-yard touchdown.

Head coach Brad Remmert said the Tigers showed more promise as the game went on. “I’m proud of the way the players battled hard second half of the game.”

Cedar Falls will go versus Ankeny, Friday Sept. 16.
