PEERS group offers wide variety of rewarding experiences
PEERS is a group dedicated to building friendships and offers a variety of enjoyable activities within the classroom and community. Some activities include cooking, playing games, creating cards for veterans and supporting Toys for Tots.
I spoke with two PEERS members to learn about their experiences. First, I interviewed Brynn Bakula, a senior. Bakula said, “I can make new friends while playing games, making crafts and helping our school. My favorite activity was making the puppy chow! I enjoyed trying all the different flavors.”
Next, I spoke with Tula Greuel, also a senior, who shared, “What I like most about PEERS is spending time with everyone.” She also mentioned that her favorite activity so far was creating cards for veterans on Veterans Day.
