The Knox family.

What country are you from?
Berlin,Germany.

What are some hobbies/activities you enjoy?
My hobby is soccer. I have played soccer about 10 years.

What do you like about Cedar Falls High School?
I like the school spirit here at school. I didn’t know something like that from Germany.

What about your family in Germany?
I have only my mother and my father in Germany. I don’t have brothers or sisters. I’m the only child.

Why did you choose America?
I chose to come to America because I want to learn the language and I want to learn more about another country.

Was your old school different from this one?
It’s a public school too. When I come back to Germany I will do two more years of school.

Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.

What are some hobbies/activities you enjoy?
Swimming, riding horses and other fun stuff.

What do you like about Cedar Falls High School?
The teachers are nice to the students.

11th grade.

Would you recommend this experience to anyone else?
Yes, I would recommend this.

I have brothers.

Why did you chose America?
I didn’t choose America, the program chose for me.

Was your old school different from this one?
My old school was good. There is cooperation on everything, and it was easy to make friends.

What are some hobbies/activities you enjoy?
I like biking, browsing and basketball.

What do you like about Cedar Falls High School?
I like the high tech labs, the sport facilities and the people.

What grade are you in?
I’m in 11th grade.

Would you recommend this experience to anyone else?
Of course, it’s a great experience.

What about your family in Nigeria?
I have two brothers and one sister. I’m the oldest.

Why did you chose America?
I actually didn’t chose America. The program did. I’m glad they did too.

Was your old school different from this one?
The structure is different, how the school is run, also the teachers and the students. I like it here so far.
